"La Tavernetta da Elio" is a restaurant located downtown in Milan, opened by Elio since 1957: the site, within the busy centre of the city, leads into the heart of tradition of the great Tuscany's cuisine which played an outstanding role of leadership of modern gastronomy's evolution since the end of the second world war.

"La Tavernetta da Elio" is at walking distance to La Scala Theatre and Duomo Cathedral, also closer to Via Spiga, Via Montenapoleone and Via Manzoni, the celebrated quarter numbering the most exclusive shops and haute couture designers, alongside the Contemporary Art Pavilion (PAC - Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea), Villa Reale and its gardens, Poldi Pezzoli Museum and the extremely rich collection of Brera Art Gallery (Pinacoteca di Brera).
